There will be plenty of tours to choose from, led by our expert team of qualified Tour Guides.
You may want to start with our Walk Through the Centuries tour - taking you from the first days of the Roman invasion in AD43 right up to the present day!
Or one of our themed tours which focuses a little more on the detail surrounding events that occurred in over 2000 years of history and the part Colchester played in the nation’s historical legacy. Tours like Roman Colchester, Medieval & Tudor Colchester, the Siege of Colchester and Georgian &Victorian Colchester.
Our three Secret Colchester tours take you on history walks but highlight objects and facts that you may not have known previously!
And no suite of Colchester tours would be complete without a walk through Haunted Colchester - to learn about our more ethereal residents who still want their stories to be told!
You are most welcome to book private walking tours which cost £10 per person but with a minimum of charge of £40 per tour - so better if you can bring your friends! These tours can be tailored to your group’s needs.
