Charity Support
Appreciating how important walking and learning are important for health and wellbeing, Colchester Heritage Tours is pleased and proud to announce that our scheduled walking tours will cost individual adults just £5.00 from October 2024, with no charge for children under 15 years of age and that all proceeds will go to our chosen Colchester charities that do so much to support very diverse needs within our City.
Tours supporting our Charities will be advertised on social media - Facebook, Instagram and X (Twitter).
Our charity support does not extend to tours that groups are welcome to book for between 1-30 people, for just £40.00. Payment for these tours is payable to Colchester Heritage Tours for activities that enable research and continuing professional development.

Colchester Foodbank provides emergency food supplies to individuals and families in crisis within the Colchester area. They work by collecting donations of non-perishable food items from the public, local businesses and organisations. These donations are then distributed to those in need through a referral system, often working with local agencies like social services, schools and health professionals. In addition to providing food, the foodbank offers support and advice to help people address the underlying issues that lead to food insecurity, aiming to provide a pathway out of poverty.
